You keep about or more a year compared with per contract fees, and far more compared with agency markups.

At this volume a per contract site can cost about the same. A flat plan pays off as you post more gigs, and compared with agency markups it pays off right away.

Estimate based on public fee structures: large freelance marketplaces charge clients about 3 to 5 percent per payment plus a contract fee of $0.99 to $14.99, and staffing agencies typically add 30 to 50 percent to the hourly pay. Fees change over time, so treat this as a guide.

Questions

Pricing questions

Still unsure? Write to [email protected].

Do I pay a fee on every hire like on other freelance sites?

No. Your plan covers every gig you post in the billing period. There is no fee per gig, per hire or per contract, and workers keep their full rate.

Is GigList only for online freelancers?

No. Post remote work like design, video and admin, or local and event work like bartenders, event staff, delivery and promo staff with a city and a travel radius.

How fast will I get applicants?

Matching runs the moment you publish, so you see a ranked shortlist of available people right away. On Business and Agency you can invite your top matches directly.

How do I know the people are good?

Profiles show portfolio, rates, availability and ratings from finished gigs. You can add screening questions to any gig and read a short summary of every applicant.

How do I pay the worker?

You agree the rate on GigList and pay the worker directly as agreed. GigList never asks workers for deposits or payments up front.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel in your billing settings and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.

What happens when I hit a plan limit?

You see a meter in your dashboard and a heads up at 80 percent. Move to a bigger plan in one click. The difference is charged right away and the new limit starts at once.

Do deleted gigs give my slots back?

No. Limits count gigs posted in the billing period, so usage stays honest. Your count starts fresh with the next billing period.

I am a worker. Why pay for Worker Pro?

Worker Pro gives you a public profile, ranked matches, 60 applications and 60 proposal drafts per period for $9 a month billed yearly ($19 monthly). One short gig usually pays it back.

Is there a free plan?

No. You can try the gig builder once without an account and see your suggested budget and top matches. Posting and hiring start with a plan.
