Questions about freelance gigs
Still unsure? Write to [email protected].
What is a freelance gig?
A freelance gig is a short paid job with a clear result, a budget and a deadline: a set of video edits, a landing page design, a weekend of event shifts. You work for the business as an independent contractor for that one job.
Is browsing gigs free?
Yes. Anyone can browse open gigs and read the full brief. Applying, a public profile and the match feed are part of Worker Pro.
Are the gigs on GigList real?
Every gig here is posted by a business account and shows its status. Closed and expired gigs leave the list, and you can report any gig that looks wrong.
Does GigList take a cut of what I earn?
No. There is no fee per gig or per hire. You agree the rate with the business, and no business may ask you for a deposit or payment to get work.
