Sharon Van Etten reveals new video for latest single 'Comeback Kid' ahead of forthcoming new album

Sharon Van Etten has shared a video for the single 'Comeback Kid' taken from her forthcoming new album Remind Me Tomorrow - due out 18th January via Jagjaguwar. Bringing her latest single to life is director Jonathon William Turner who shot the footage in and around Van Etten's hometown of New York.

Van Etten had this to say about the video "As the lyrics for ‘Comeback Kid’ unfolded, I realized I was talking about many selves: the kid, the adult, the sibling, the friend, the neighbour. I imagined a projector streaming over me of memories, unclear if they are mine or someone else's, confronted by the disorientation of time and perspective,” explains Van Etten. “Jonathan William Turner helped me to convey these struggles of self, forgiveness, and living in the now."

In support of the new album, Van Etten is embarking on a worldwide 2019 tour and will be playing dates in the UK and Europe from the 31st March 2019.
