New album First Flower due out in October with lead single 'Wild'. Tour set for November.

Molly Burch has today announced her second album First Flower will be released in October via Captured Tracks. The album is a 'walk-through her most intimate thoughts'. Burch has unveiled the album's lead single as the wistful 'Wild' - with accompanying video. About the song, Burch said: "I wanted to write a song that made me feel at peace with my imperfections and celebrate others without putting them on pedestals." Burch emerged onto the music scene in 2017 with her debut album Please Be Mine, a ten-track ode to unrequited romance that she wrote after studying Jazz Vocal Performance at the University of North Carolina in Asheville. The new video for 'Wild' was directed by Luca Venter and sees Molly embracing three different characters. Molly added: "it shines light on the absurdity of the 'grass is always greener' mentality. I think for the most part we all share pretty similar fears and insecurities. Or at least that's what I'm hoping."
