Green Man Festival 2017 marks the 10th Anniversary of Green Man Rising. The annual competition hosts the best unsigned and upcoming acts in the UK. Â Every year a panel of muso's, tastemakers, blogger's and industry reps get together and judge from a selection of entrees to curate a roster of the best current unsigned acts in the UK.
This year the finalists will be judged byÂ experts from Clash Magazine, BBC 6 Music, Domino Recording Company, Noisey, The Guardian, 4AD, CAA - Creative Artists Agency, London Evening Standard and Green Man Festival. Here areÂ our picks from the amazingly eclectic roster below.Â

which was released in May this year and was produced by Jimmy Hogarth (Amy Winehouse, Sia) it also features Warpaintâs

London based Sports Team
have built up a reputation around London forÂ their riotous and unpredictable live shows. Sports Teams' music making is described as a rather excitingÂ "Pavement-like slackerism" blended with "an eye for euphoria to create something thatâs as hypnotic as it is forceful".Â Catch them on the 18th of August on Green Man rising stage.
