Hockeysmith returns as a solo project with new single 'Tears At My Age'
Cornish musician Annie Hockeysmith
is back with new music and a new line up. Originally the band featured her sister, Georgie, on guitar but she has since departed for University, leaving Annie to explore new territory as an electronic solo project.
Annie spent the past two years dividing her time between Copenhagen and Cornwall and immersing herself in local music history such as rave subculture. It's this juxtaposition that informs her latest material, she found a more collaborative environment in Copenhagen and worked alongside friends of Escho Label
(Iceage, Smerz). Escho founder Nis Bysted helped write and produce several tracks from her forthcoming album, which is now near completion.
