In 2003, Arnaldo Antunes, Carlinhos Brown and Marisa Monte formed the super-band Tribalistas and released a self-titled album.
The album sold more than 1.5 million copies just in Brazil, and more than two million around the world.
Mostly acoustic, with splashes of electronics, the album generated a string of Latin Grammy nominations, winning the Latin Grammy for Best Brazilian Contemporary Pop Album, but the band never toured. Last year, they announced a reunion.
In March, Marisa Monte, Arnaldo Antunes and Carlinhos Brown announced their first tour together: the Tribalistas Tour 2018.
