A brand new daytime clubbing concept is launching in East London at the legendary Cargo; so get set to extend your weekend and dust off those coming Monday blues throughout this summer. Hosting an array of London's finest Disco, Soul, Funk and House DJs split across 2 arenas including music on the outdoor Terrace; expect good times, good vibes and a whole heap of sunday smiles.
For our launch we welcome one of London's most in-demand DJs, Rinse FM resident Klose One. Strongly regarded as a tastemaker and one of the world’s most technically gifted DJs on the scene, London based Ruairi Kennedy aka Klose One is quickly being tagged as ‘The DJ’s favourite DJ’. With fans from across the musical spectrum, Klose One stands out amongst the rising DJ’s in the UK. Klose One will be bring an extended 90 minute set, aligned to Disco and Funk style genres.
We are also very excited to welcome the iconic Normski to the mix. The infamous broadcaster who brings over 20 years across TV, Radio and nationwide tours as a DJ, will be spreading his infectious energy with a funky and groove-style House set.
Cargo's outdoor Terrace will host an extended daytime set from local Disco and Soul outfit, Disco Freaks. The Hoxton FM residents have performed at festivals across the UK and Europe including Bestival, Glastonbury, with regular performances closer to home at Bussey Building and Old Queens Head.
Known for their 2018 Ibiza anthem "Peaceful Crowd", K&K will be bringing all things House to Cargo's arches, alongside Kirk Paten of Secluded Family and Phonetic Records. Support includes Clockwork Orange's Zac Le Nez, and rising House names Martin Badder, Vincent Mackay, Sam Whitmore, WWiley and Leon La Rosa. SUGAR head honcho James Carter is also bringing the Disco heat.
