Watch: Angel Olsen and Jim James Cover 'Baby Don't Go'

They covered the old Sonny & Cher track at David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption.

Over the weekend in Brooklyn, a crowd of artists within the live music, film and visual arts field gathered at David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption for a three-day multimedia event of performances, meditations and talks. The line-up included performances from Animal Collective, Jon Hopkins, Au Revoir Simone, My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and Angel Olsen. On the second night of the festival, Angel Olsen and Jim James joined forces for a gorgeous performance of Sonny & Cher’s 'Baby Don’t Go.' This will mark the third annual festival for Lynch's gathering which splits between New York and LA - and is due to return to Los Angeles in October. Organising the festival is the David Lynch Foundation which came about for Lynch’s longtime studies in Transcendental Meditation - it also works for at-risk populations, war veterans suffering from PTSD and deprived urban youth.
