Thom Yorke premieres new track 'Plasticine Figures' on The Tonight Show - listen now

Thom Yorke's Tomorrow's Modern Boxes side-project was due to feature prominently on this year's festival calendar before Covid-19 ensured the summer season was a write-off. 

In lieu of live performance, thankfully Radiohead icon Yorke has dusted off a previously unfinished track, debuting 'Plasticine Figures' for Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show last night - see full video below:

According to Fallon, the gentle, sparkling piano ballad was reworked especially for this intimate quarantine performance - for how remote the song makes you feel, coincidentally it was the ideal setting to breathe life into a formerly abandoned composition. 

Recently revealed plans for Radiohead to tour in 2021 have also been put on hold for the foreseeable, so let's here's to first of many lockdown releases to tie us over. We hope.
