Canadian indie-pop group Tallies are due to release their self-titled debut album, January 11th.
Toronto four-piece Tallies isSarah Cogan (vocals, rhythm guitar), Dylan Frankland (lead guitar), Cian O’Neill (drums), and Stephen Pitman (bass). They've shared a new single 'Trouble' taken from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, due out January 11th via Fear of Missing Out Records.
All jangles and indie pop goodness, the album has been recorded with Josh Korody at Toronto’s Candle Recordings, where locals like Metz, Dilly Dally, Austra, and Weaves have made records and also where Frankland works his day job as an audio engineer.
Sarah Cogan, Tallies frontwoman had this to say about the new track “the feeling of naiveté and being unable to predict certain situations when in possible danger.” She adds, “This innocence, for women especially, is impossible to maintain as you grow older.”
The group are scheduled to play Focus Wales in May next year with more European tour dates to be announced soon.
