Given since March the overwhelming majority of new bands haven't been able to showcase their talents, that didn't stop Sub Pop Records adding TV Priest to their roster having only played one show. Today the post-punk four-piece unleash new single 'Press Gang', further meriting the legendary indie label's decision to sign them up.

Ahead of their debut full-length release Uppers on 21st Feb, 'Press Gang' and it's accompanying video wryly comments on how the age of fact-based print media and information morphed into our current 'post-truth' world. Inspired by frontman Charlie Drinkwater's grandfather’s career as a photojournalist and war correspondent on Fleet Street that spanned three decades, the state of not knowing who or what to believe anymore is certainly depressing, but makes a hearty narrative for TV Priest's chunky rhythmic post-punk.

With new lockdown restrictions in place for the foreseeable future, the band have also rescheduled their socially distanced show at London's Oslo Hackney to 10th April.
