The Streets' Mike Skinner reveals Tame Impala collaboration for new mixtape
In what is probably one of the most left-field collaborations in recent memory, Mike Skinner of The Streets has revealed a new collaboration with psych-pop purveyors Tame Impala.
The upcoming (and aptly named) mixtape None of Us Are Getting Out of This Life Alive features a slew of collaborations, most surprisingly with Kevin Parker on “Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better” in what is the project's leading single.
Released via Island later this summer on 10th July, it marks the first full-length release from Skinner since 2011's Computers and Blues, and will feature further collaborations with the likes of IDLES frontman Joe Talbot, as well as rising UK stars such as Greentea Peng, Hak Baker, and Jimothy Lacoste.
