Sports Team Are Driving Their Fans to Margate for Single Launch

Band is offering to drive fans to Margate for new single launch.

Sports Team are releasing their new single ‘Margate’ next Friday (3rd August) and the band is organising a special trip for fans. The band is inviting fans to apply for free places on a coach being driven from London to Margate by frontman Alex Rice himself. Fans will be taken to Margate for a show by the band at the Tom Thumb Theatre, with a BBQ included. Sports Team consists of Alex Rice, songwriter Rob Naggs, Al Greenwood on drums, Henry Young on guitars, Oli Dewdney on bass and percussionist Ben Mac. The Harlesden based band originally met at Cambridge University have quickly become famous for their energetic and occasionally surreal live shows. Tickets for the gig are just £5 and are available HERE - with the band asking fans to message them directly on their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts to apply for a (limited) place on the coach.
