South Facing Festival 2021: Sleaford Mods, Fat White Family, Baxter Dury lead all-dayer lineup announcement

Brand spanking festival series South Facing have revealed an all-day lineup for Saturday 7th August, with Sleaford Mods sitting top of the bill.

Beloved label Heavenly Recordings and London promoter Bad Vibrations co-curate the all-dayer which also features Baxter Dury, Fat White Family, Jane Weaver, The Orielles, and Katy J Pearson. More names are expected to be announced before the festival takes place.

South Facing festival series, held at Crystal Palace Bowl between 5-29th August 2021 has already revealed Supergrass, The Streets, Max Richter, and Dizzie Rascal amongst the headliners, with co-curated days with Cross The Tracks Festival and Gilles Peterson featuring Masego, Poppy Ajudha, Cymande, Corinne Bailey Rae, and The Comet Is Coming.

Promoters behind the likes of Field Day, Cross The Tracks, Wide Awake, and Dimensions created the new festival with the intention of "rebooting the rusty laptop", reinvigorating the iconic South London venue that has welcomed performances from Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Elton John, Lou Reed, Eric Clapton, The Pixies, Gil Scott Heron, The Cure, The Beach Boys, Carlos Santana, Jeff Beck, Curtis Mayfield, and The Sex Pistols to name a handful.
