Holland's alternative music Mecca Lowlands Festival are planning for a positive summer, revealing their first wave of names for 2021's edition with Liam Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers, and Caribou leading the way.

Also reveal in the initial announcement are Sleaford Mods, slowthai, KAYTRANADA, Biig Piig, Shame, Kelly Lee Owens, Dry Cleaning, Yves Tumor, AURORA, Denzel Curry, Arlo Parks, Working Men's Club, Altin Gün, and more.

Scheduled to take place from 20-22 August, the festival's promoters are hopeful that the vaccination programme will allow major scale events to take place, much as we're seeing here in the UK. Tickets are expected to go on sale for the 55,000 capacity festival in the coming weeks when there is more information available about how the summer months will pan out.
