Liverpool Sound City has announced their Stay At Home Festival is taking place on Saturday, May 2, and it will host virtual performances from Friendly Fires, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, The Wombats, VISTAS, The Sherlocks, She Drew The Gun, Violet Skies, MONKS, and many others.

The Sound City Stay At Home Festival is a partnership with Music Venue Trust and will take place on Sound City's Guest House streaming service this weekend.

Festival founder Dave Pichilingi says, "We were determined to fill the space in May that we have occupied for the past 13 years. We have put together an amazing line up of diverse artists and speakers from right across the globe. Everyone involved has given their time and performances for free. To show our gratitude we would urge everyone to pledge what you can when you are in the Guest House platform."

Sound City 2020 was planned to take place May 1-3 in venues across the Baltic Triangle in Liverpool but the event has now been rescheduled to take place in September. The independent festival will launch on September 24 with an opening party at District, which will be headlined by Fickle Friends.

Tickets for the original event in May are still valid for the September dates. Further tickets can be bought online here
