News: Liverpool Sound City Finalise Lineup For 2020
The indie-centric industry festival returns on 1-3 May.

With an emphasis on unsigned talent, Liverpool's Sound City continues to prove itself as a music industry must each May.
The platform for breaking bands have drip-fed their lineup throughout January, but now as it stands this year's major performances will come from Friendly Fires headlining the Saturday night, and Pale Waves on Sunday.
There's a welcome mix of established names and up-and-comers as expected, with Marika Hackman, The Blinders, BC Camplight, Louis Berry, and Tim Burgess featuring prominently on this year's roster.
Liverpool has a rich heritage of producing ground-breaking artists from The La's, Cast, and of course, The Beatles, and the city remains fertile ground for unearthing indie's 'next big thing'.
Alongside the wealth of underground and unsigned acts due to perform across the city's many venues, there's also a schedule of conferences from leading professionals who will no doubt impart their knowledge on the industry's trending topics.
