Electro-pop newcomer Vanity Fairy re-imagines the disco greats on 'Loverman'
Vanity Fairy aka Daisy Capri has shared the dreamy second track 'Loverman' from her forthcoming debut EP Lust For Dustout next month. If you're a fan of Ariel Pink's wonky and weird pop then you'll love this post-disco sizzler, co-produced with Sammy Yamaha and Simon Byrt (Pixx, Babeheaven).
Vanity Fairy recently played a slew of small shows across the UK, without a live band, she had this to say about it: “For me, every time you play live as an artist, you’re kind of covering yourself anyway. Always chasing a version of that first moment of inspiration, or whatever, when you first come up with the idea for a song. I like the freedom of not having to play an instrument; it means I can really do the kind of moves I want to, and get down on my knees and so on if I’m feeling really emotional at a particular point in the set”.
