New York brother duo set to release new album Go To School next week
New York band of brothers, The Lemon Twigs have released the lead single 'The Fire' from their new album Go To School which is due to be released on August 24th on 4AD.
The new album tells the coming-of-age story of Shane, a pure of heart chimpanzee raised as a human boy. Band members Brian and Michael D’Addario's own mother Susan Hall, and Todd Rundgren play Shane’s parents. The album also features contributions from Jody Stephens (Big Star) and their father Ronnie D’Addario.
The Lemon Twigs are playing a sold-out show tonight at London's Lexington before performing at this weekend's Green Man Festival. Following that they are supporting the Arctic Monkeys on a UK arena tour before headlining their own US tour that leads through to February 2019.
