Khruangbin celebrate the lost art of writing letters in video for 'Dearest Alfred'

The introspective track from last year's Mordechai is a reflection of how much meaning words and communication can have, no matter how simple. Something we need more than ever right now.

Khruangbin have revealed their new video for 'Dearest Alfred' today, and it's a celebration of the lost art of writing letters to loved ones. 

A montage of animation and grainy analogue footage, it's a reflection of how much meaning words and communication can have, no matter how simple.

"Your letter is the best gift" Laura Lee dreamily recites throughout, one of the three-piece's more introspective tracks from last year's Mordechai. Though it likely refers to letters penned by someone close to her in a previous life, it has a more prescient meaning given the lack of human connection we're all in dire need of at present.
