Everyone's favourite Bristolian political post-punks IDLES (in true Willy Wonka fashion) have donated a golden ticket to attend all of (yes, all of) their 2021 gigs to Stagehand's #ILoveLive fundraising campaign they've announced today.

On the day the first Covid-19 vaccine was administered, hope is beginning to flood back into the lives of many, especially those involved in live music and events. But there's still a tough winter ahead for many industry professionals who have seen their income either diminish or dry up completely.

Announced on their social channels, the band said: "With no shows since March, crew's income has been slashed with many finding that they are ineligible for any kind of government financial aid. Many are in desperate need and most are sitting with mental health issues. Let's help raise some money to support them this winter. It could literally save lives."

Many major artists have donated to the campaign, including the likes of Eric Clapton, Elbow, Liam Gallagher, Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, Radiohead, Foals, The Chemical Brothers, Glastonbury Festival, and Reading Festival, with Stagehand raising a total of £256,606 so far.
