It's another Bank Holiday weekend, one that should've marked the official beginning to the UK's festival season. Alas, the world had other plans. Against advice, it's likely that the parks and seasides will be completely rammed until Monday evening, so I guess it'll feel like an odd dystopian festival anyway? Whether or not you choose to dodge, judge, and scowl at the hoards of disobedient coastal drinkers, or resume your hermit lifestyle yet another week, at least weekly dose of New Music Friday will repel those potential Bank Holiday blues aye. 

IDLES made their return this week with a full fist of lockdown optimism, Khruangbin reveal another slice of serene soul from their eagerly anticipated third album Mordechai, Yellow Days and Donny Benét hit the dancefloor, and Gold Celeste find common ground in the cosmos. 

It's in no specific order, so shuffle till your heart's content. Just remember to stay tuned, sink in, and we'll be back next week:
