The Great Escape festival kicks off today in sunny Brighton for a three-day international convention of music industry meets, exciting conference talks and hundreds of new artists from around the globe playing shows at various venues snaked around Brighton city centre and beachfront. The packed out roster includes shows from Boy Azooga, Japanese Breakfast, Flohio, Soccer Mommy, IDLES, Hatchie, Yellow Days and more. It's always exciting to run around Brighton's winding lanes and glorious seafront attempting to catch every act you'd been looking forward to checking out, at last, so we've put together a playlist of the acts we'll be down for this weekend, including Jack River, Lucia, Art School Girlfriend, HERS, Superorganism and many more.
