The Great Escape Festival has revealed its first fifty names for it's 2021 city-wide industry showcase event, with Arlo Parks, The Magic Gang, Holly Humberstone, Molchat Doma, and Pa Salieu leading the list of initial artists set to perform.

Amongst the fifty announced, Chubby and the Gang, Skullcrusher, Walt Disco, NewDad, CMAT, Bree Runway, and Bad Boy Chiller Crew are also confirmed.

It's uncertain how next year will pan out in terms of live music events, especially on a large scale, but there's cause for optimism say the festival: "Following the remarkable news of the progress with the vaccines we are confident that we can go ahead at full capacity next year. Through a mix of vaccine and testing, as well as trial events, the festival will be ready and eager to safely welcome people back to live music."

Held in sunny, south coast Brighton every year since 2006, The Great Escape has provided a platform for the likes of Adele, Foals, Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Grimes, Laura Marling, The xx, alt-J, HAIM, Disclosure, and Bombay Bicycle Club in the formative years of their careers. With their actual 15th birthday celebrations on hold this year, next May is sure to be a historic weekend.
