All-female support cast announced for IDLES' 2021 UK tour

With hype and adulation seriously ramping up for third album Ultra Mono (stay tuned for our review later this week...), IDLES are right on the cusp of entering bonafide stadium territory. As their 2021 UK continues to sell out despite adding more and more dates, they've announced they're taking a roster of superb female talent along for the ride. 

Cate Le Bon, Anna Calvi, Jehnny Beth, Big Joanie, Sinead O'Brien, Shopping, Witch Fever, and Wych Elm will join them on separate dates during the tour, making up one of the more intriguing support casts in recent memory. 

Collaborator and confident Jehnny Beth (pictured) will join the Bristol boys for the bulk of dates, alongside Big Joanie, whereas the remainder of guests will join on the additional dates at London's Brixton Academy. 

Recently on the wrong end of criticism about a lack of diversity in their perceived demographic (middle-aged white blokes, basically), the looks like Joe Talbot and co. have some serious intentions to amend said perception. Excellent work.
